M9/312 DVG pin Vet estate buy

Here is a vet estate bought DVG Westmark (Lothr) enamel pin that I recently bought from a ww2 vets nephew. For context I included all the other badges bought from the same lot. Also included were 2 army sports shirts eagles, a yugo bayonet with a luft marked frog and an old Belgian double barreled percussion pistol.
Seems these badges are controversial, due to their markings. The enamel work is perfect and the pin and catch seem fine also. Just find it hard to believe that this would be bogus, everything else in the grouping being 100% pre May 45. Maybe some of the old time collectors bought these from vets, would be nice to hear some other thoughts.

              Hi Josef,

Have you really doubts with this mm? I noticed you don't show this specific maker on your website. I Always considered them as good pieces

              Regards, Wim

I must clearly stop posting, as my posts are obviously going through some time machine and coming out twisted.

Wim, i asked why this makers mark is considered "controversial" meaning that i like it. (i dont only just like it, it is authentic without question)

On my site, this M9/ number has been addressed since 2009 ! This maker, this delimae, everything.
