1940 int'l air race badge

Hello all,
Just wondering about a badge that is up for sale on Craig Gottliebs auction site. I see he has one of those Wasserkuppe Rhon 1940 international air race
badges for sale. I was under the impression that these never existed or at least the originality of these items is doubted. I hope I"m wrong because I have one of these badges. Here's a link to the item.

i have the same in my collection, but this badge is very contreversed, some say goods and others fake! for my opinion this badge is a very good fake!

Patrick thanks for replying to my query. I was surprised to see this on Craigs site. As I mentioned I was under the impression that these were not real. I know there are a number of enamelled badges, like the Olympic and HJ Nesselwang that are considered bogus & I thought this one was in that category. It is a nicely made and good looking badge if it is indeed bogus.
