    Odd Piece Opinions

    Hi All,
This looks to be some sort of a "homebrew?" Unusual looking item.
Has 2 early 1900's silver coins attached. The swas has a silver content mark.
Probably worn on a hat? Anyone have any ideas?
    .. John

Your souvenir of Kaunas (Kovno in Russian, Kowno in Polish) was probably intended as a brooch and sent home to a mother or sweetheart. There was a tradition of these going back to W.W.I. Here's one from that era.
