Bronze HJ Proficiency Badge...

I have a question about a bronze HJ proficiency badge that I own. Unfortunately I don't have a digital camera so I can't post any photos of it. The badge is legitimate as I bought it from a dealer who sponsors this site. The badge is maker marked M 1/101, " RZMed " & numbered 37789. The M 1/101 & RZM mark are raised ( slightly ) located on the right side of the circle ( on the reverse ) while the badge number 37789 is stamped into left arm of the Tyr rune ( also on the reverse ). Can anyone tell me who the maker of this badge was?

It's a nice old badge IMHO . I've had it for a few years. It shows evidence of some wear ( not too much ) & has a nice patina.

Rzm M1/101

RZM M1/101 was the RZM license number for metal insignia made by the company Gustav Brehmer, located in Markneukirchen. This company had the RZM contract to make a lot of HJ proficiency badges.

The reverse you describe is perfectly correct, with raised RZM mark and number, and stamped issue number.

Mine has virtually all of the original bronze wash intact. I wish I had a camera ! You guys would be impressed ( I think ).Thanks again for all the help. I bought this one from Detlev about 4 years ago & I've always liked it.
PS. What was the age range for this award? I know the silver grade was awarded to 17-18 year olds.
