    Fair market values

German pins aren't my cup of tea or area of expertise, so I'm hoping you fellows can give me an idea of fair values for each of the following 5 pins in the condition described & pictured, so I can dispose of them on e-stand. I believe all these are genuine pins.

Hunger and Cold 1933-1934 tinnie, missing pin. No maker mark. [Pics of same in this message, the remaining 4 to follow separately.]

Hitler Youth membership pin, maker marked M1 / 143 RZM. Scratches and minor surface chip on red enamel..

Unidentified black and red swastika pin about 13 mm square. Pin missing, no maker mark. I'm guessing it was a stick pin, and is very well made. This is the same one I posted earlier here, looking for an ID, but well over 70 views and no ideas.

VDA "People's League for German-ness Abroad" membership pin. No maker mark. Missing pin from back, and has two small chips in the white enamel between the plumes and the lower left cross arm of the swastika.

RLB Luftschutz pin, maker marked H. Aurich, Dresden, intact & full enamel.

    Thanks in advance.

Now you have posted a larger picture of No. 3, I think its a biker badge.

Appreciate the thoughts, Pete. If there is concurrence, I'll take a hammer to this one and bin it. I've been doing a lot more hunting regarding the others and have a fair idea of price ranges now, with the exception of the RBL pin. Hopefully some other folks will chime in.

I saw an RLB pin similar to yours for sale recently priced at $45 US.

                  Hi,

Post 3 (as already stated) is a fantasy item.
The rest are OK, but a shame about the missing pins!
RLB pin is worth approx. £35:00 in the UK.
Not worth a great deal on the market I'm afraid.
I go to Germany regularly, and have a contact with a shoe-box full of Day Badges, WHW items etc.
A lot of these items have lost their pins, but as the pin itself was a generic item (mass produced, and all for the same purpose) I hunt round the bottom of the box and take all the pins I can find!
When I return home, I use a tiny application of superglue to my badges with missing pins; original badge - with original pin!
I do not think this is a "bad" practice, as all components are original so I cannot see any problem.

                  Best wishes,

                  John

Thanks, John. I will go away now & hit that swastika with a hammer

Wouldn't want to send me three or four of your pins, would ya?

                      Pins

Most of these pins aren't that difficult to find. If you don't bother to repair them you should consider selling them as one lot. You may get a better response.
