The tinnie is in good shape Amy (sorry about the "he" - it was rather late last night). I found one listed with Weitze at 120 Euros.

I would say $100 is low for a relatively scarce tinnie and but $400 way too high. Not that that helps you much I'm afraid.

It is not appropriate to use the discussion threads for selling.

          Sold

Thats okay I understand, there were a good deal of rude AHOLEs'! involved in my asking a question about the worth of my tinniess, I got a cross hatch of feedback, mostly hateful and mean. I'm glad it's gone so I don't have to deal with any of you people ever again! You can go ahead and remove me from your forum. I wont be coming back.

Such a sad and tragic loss, both to WAF and to our hobby in general. I know 'freedom of speech' is a vaunted value, but somehow that should not include the 'freedom to be rude, hateful, discourteous and mean' while still expecting a comprehensive means of discussing subjects of importance to many of us around the world. We all suffer when a fellow enthusiast such as Amy is discouraged by the disrespectful demeanor of others among us. Amy, if you are still here, please accept my apology on behalf of WAF.

James, I really don't ready anything out of the ordinary in these posts, so I presume it was PMs sent to the lady that were unacceptable behavior. Perhaps Amy should refer these posts to the Mod for consideration of some type of action. Or can the Mod read PMs?

I sent Amy a PM with an offer to buy her Coburg tinnie. I received a prompt and courteous reply and purchased the tinnie. Amy even included the other tinnie as a gift. Amy was a perfect lady and mailed them promptly.

I am always sad to see someone leave the forums after feeling they were treated poorly. Amy, thank you for a perfect transaction and my apologies for anyone who did not afford you the respect you deserve.

                  Hi Joe,

I agree with your note, and when I first read Amy's sentiment in her #19 below, I too couldn't find anything in this thread that struck me as particularly "rude, hateful and mean" -- though one does tend to become jaded over time! So yes, she must have been given that impression from PMs she received directly, and if that is true, it is every bit as unacceptable as if some of our colleagues posted that kind of language for all to see...perhaps even more so. As you suggested, I hope she will consider forwarding such PMs to the Moderator of this Forum, and I hope the Moderator will take decisive action against such goings-on, now and in the future. If we fail to be civilized and courteous among ourselves, then everything we've ever heard about the kind of people who collect "Nazi trash" have already come true.
