Wheeling out another- 1938 RPT Non-portable

Not often seen- a non portable prize for a second place (or a first loser to some).
Finished in silvered zinc with blackened recesses. The age is getting to this one but even though it is definitely "bubbly" it still retains 90% to the front and about 85% of the verso finish. Came cased but unmarked. Its down to only 3 makers IMO but can't narrow it down any more than that.
Never seen the 3rd place although it must've existed at least back then. If anyone has any surviving examples- please show here.
    cheers
    Matt

Show of force- comparing its size against a cupal tinnie of same design.

Very nice display, Matt -- you should consider including the Anschluss Medal...or all three of them...to round out the display!

      Cheers,

          Thank You Gents.
If the place on a podium had anything to do with the size of the medal (as it did for 1939 RPT- Sieger medal is quite a bit bigger than 2nd place which in turn is slightly bigger than 3rd place winner) then it would be really interesting to see the 1938 Sieger medal and compare the size- sadly it is one of the medals still missing from my collection. Perhaps one of the members here can show us one?
          cheers
          Matt
