It was sold as a badge for entering a barracks for a day of open doors in march 1939

              Hallo Wood
              Gruss

                Thanks Guy.

                Mike,

Guy says "The badge is OK, the badge was made of very thin paper, it was just for a few hours (1 day) as long as you were in the barracks, the badge is rare, it is numbered in the catalog of Mr. Büttig 5 No. 65011 . Issued by the 14 Infantry Division Infantry Regiment"

Presumably for visitors to the barracks open day. Nice find.

By the way Mr, Büttig is a German? authority on WHW badges and produces a WHW collectors news sheet/catalogues dealing with newly found/obscure items.

                Regards,
                Pete

                      Chrys,
How could you. I didn't try to buy it. (I was, however, hoping it would appear on the e-stand) :-)
