I like what I see. Only wonder about the badge with the wolfs angle. Never saw that one before??

              Regards, Wim

As Wim says, please tell us what that badge is. I've never seen it before? And why the honour wreath around it?

Some people call it the first version of the Nazi party pin. Anyway I have seen that in a few books. Another book that I just had setting here in front of me calls it the Unofficial badge of the NSDAP until 1933-34 and I would suppose the honour wreath means it was worn by somebody of some importance. Some where here I have a plain one, but could not find it. Good question though and it might be open to debate.

Hello Ross, Very good for you indeed. Be carefull these are often faked. But collecting them has always been satisfying to me. Good luck and good hunting.
It is nice to meet you,

It could not be a forerunner of the party badge. The history (design) of the party pin is pretty well documented by collector - researcher Jo Rivett and it does not mentioned such a variant.

Agree, still i'd like to see a close up shot of the front and back please.

The dutch NSB used the wolf hook on several badges as well, (not that i think that this is a NSB badge). It does intrigue me though as to what it is (real or phantasy).

Wim, is Jo's book out already? I miss his posts and look forward to the book.

                          best regards,
                          Gaston

Hello, I have more than one book that calls it that, word for word, Unofficial civil badge of NSDAP members until 1933-34, Diverse variants exist. By the way why does ity specify "civil" ? I do not have a clue.
But we all know all books are not right, I do not know, I was just quoting something that I had read. I was not there. As far as it being in my party pin cases, you might notice a few others that are not actually party pins !!! I am not calling it a party pin.
I have included close ups, sorry for the delay.
