S.A. 3rd Ski Treffen 1936

I think that the declaration on this event badge may be a tad misleading as perhaps it suggests an SA national event, rather than an SA regional event. My thoughts are that it is probably SA Gruppe Sachsen specific, although I could be totally wrong here.

I hope to eventually show the event badge for the 2nd SA Ski Treffen. Again held in Oberwiesenthal and which took place in February 1935, although where the badge is clearly declaring Gruppe Sachsen.

Perhaps even Gruppe Sachsen being the hosts for a national event?

Oberwiesenthal I understand being on the border with the then Sudetenland and apparently still, a massively popular ski resort.
