Not big on this badge. One of the things I like to see are folds inside the ribbon bows while on this badge you can see the oak leaves. Beside that this badge lacks detail and also I don't like the style of the lettering.

Controversial at best. With a reasonable availability of this item on the market today I would suggest moving onto another one. I personally find the second model more esthetically pleasing than the first but try to find one with dots (after the 17/18) and the bottom serifs on the 1's.
