Hey guys. I'm new to the forum and this will be my first post. My fathers been collecting for many years and now I'm sucked in! We have a large GPB with the NSDAP number 76765. Is there any sites to link it to a name? Any help is appreciated. Pictures are possible

76765 belonged to a Roßner, Karl. You could use a researcher to find out more on him and copies of his files from the archives in Washington!

Thanks for the info! Ill post pictures tomorrow. If only I had the small GPB to go with it. Just out of curiosity how did you find that so fast.... I've been looking for 2 days and got nothing.

Hi Larbme,

Welcome among us! Your large GPB -- assuming that it is genuine -- was held by a minor SS officer who probably joined the SS at about the same time that he joined the NSDAP. SS-Untersturmführer Karl Roßner held SS-Nummer 2319.

Many of us know how you feel about wishing that you had a matched set of GPBs -- they are very rare to be found!
