Rare Luxemburg Badge Help Please!!!!

Folks,
Sadly, I may have to sell one of the real treasures of my collection. I do know that these badges are very rare with only a handfull in private collections. My question which in the past I`ve been unable to get an answer for, is, what could be the true value of this badge, ie, a fair asking price, or do I need to place this in an auction? Thanks for any help...

OK, I did find a link on this badge stating it was valued at roughly $5000.00 which was several years ago. Because of the rarity of this badge, but given the economic state of Nazi collectables, would the value be the same now, or more so???

Helmut had one for sale at the 2007 SOS. I don't remember the exact price, but it was at least $3,500.

I have never seen one before or since. A very rare badge

Chris, unless you really don't want this badge or it doesn't fit your collecting theme, I would find some other things to sell and keep it in my collection. Hope everything goes well for you and you manage to hold on to it as it will be very hard to replace.
