      It's an SA Reserve pin

Here's a link with some others for you to compare.

            Nice one!

I don't have that maker. These are SA Reserve II pins.
I believe the SA Reserve I was drawn from the Stahlhelm? Perhaps someone else can clarify.

Yes, Ralph your right the winged pin is a SA Reserve II pin for members of the Kyffhäuserbund who joined the SA in 1933. The NSDFBST (German Nazi Frontsoldiers Assoc.) was later the SA Reserve I org. (Wehrstahlhelm) 1934/1935. The fellow in the picture Don has provided is warning what appears to be both a NSDFBST and a Reserve II pin. Very nice to see these items actually worn.

                James,

Thanks for the info, I've often wondered why this guy was wearing both pins, I never realised there was a connection.

Here's the snap with the other badge highlighted.

                Cheers

Sorry James, it's an NSV pin. He also wears a button ribbon.

                    Cheers
