Hitlerjugend Schiessabzeichen, opinions?

Hello guys,

This morning I bought this HJ Schiessabzeichen. It's in a nice condition and is stamped on the backside.
It would be nice if someone would give more information about this one.

Could you tell us why do you think it´s a fake. Only for the not matching pin plate in the reverse? There is a lot of originals with these not matching plates.

as i said the hakenkreuz looks very odd to me as well.

but hey, it's just imho. i've been wrong before.

i'm sure others will give their opinions in due course.

total fake , well known non third reich pin plate and the crudity of the swastika condemms it

Ahh, that's sad to hear. I was pretty convinced that this was a genuine one. As you guys said, the pin plate is post war, I see now.
But apart from the pin plate, the Abzeichen looks quite genuine to me...

Is someone able to show me another one to see the diferences?

It's a clear fake, both front an reverse shows that. In fact some specialized enamel collectors doubt that M1/14 ever made real HJ shooting badges. There are much more convinced fakes out there than this one.

RonR shows a typical good M1/77.

Okay, thank you guys for your opinion. Next week I'll see the man who sold it again. Hopefully he will give me my money back...

It's safer to look for an M1/77 or a S&L.
