Hello All, I ordered and received the Tieste books; they are very helpful to my novice knowledge of the stuff. After spending a few full days researching the tinnies I have I only ended up with les than 20 who are not in the books. Out of the 801 items 455 are indeed tinnies or WHW / VDA. The rest are association pins and political insignias.

I thank you all again for the help. Please look at the E-stand.

there where 10 SS tinnies in the lot, They are the only ones I kept in Belgium and as I reside in the US for the next weeks I can therefor not show pictures of them. They are nevertheless part of the lot and I will post pictures when back home.

Marc, I dont think anyone will offer you $14,000 for these. Like stated before, you will find their true value at the MAX.

I don’t think we should discuss “selling” and “prices” in this post. The E stand is there for that but below is the text I posted on the E-stand as response.

No one seems to see the difference in the words “asking” and “firm price”.

“Open to all reasonable offers” is also a hind… I know no one will pay me 14,000 at ones for the damn things. It is a starting price. But even at an average price of $15 a piece (what would be a very, very good deal) the amount would still be high. I know it will be easier to sell in small lots or even piece-by-piece, I just waned to give the chance to someone to buy the whole lot as many of you had E-mailed me privately about selling them. So if someone is brave enough to make an offer for the whole lot……

Very nice Marc. The only one I have problems with is the Gautag München (top right corner), this is a well known fantasy item. The others though look very nice.
