    Not An SS Tinnie

    The bindings on the surrounding wreath of this 1935 tinnie appear to be SS, but they are just bindings I believe......

    What do you think?

      Just for the abbreviation:
      REK = Reichsvereinigung ehemaliger Kriegsgefangener,
      so indeed POW's from WWI.

        Many thanks for the identification.

        Perhaps that is the reason that there is no swastika on the tinnie.
