There were never veins on the original 30 mm oak leaf border. The fakers somehow never take that into account. Good thing, because it make repro identification that much easier.

Gold Goof

I've seen this type on nefarious online auction sites with the same "8014" serial number also. You'd think they could at least change a digit from time to time. I guess they must be pretty lazy Reprofiteers.
