    Sudetenland 1938 pin

    Hi,

I would like to share with you my another new addition - Sudetenland 1938 pin.

I already have 2 of them but this one is the first one with the long needle.

We dont see this pins very offten thatsway I would like to see your opinions. I never found out if this was official pin or just the supporter pin. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards
    Pavel

I can only admire this pin. Although I can only speculate, It would appear to be a supporters pin very much like the German supporters pin but without the outside ring. I only guess though. I have been after one of these in ither stick or pinback for a long tome. Congrats to you and thanks for showing. Robert

Too bad about the enamel damage but 100% original.

        Is it for sale?

          Hi John,

the enamel is OK it was just flash. See other picture plus the 2 pins with horizontal needles that I found in ground few years ago.

          Best regards

I have seen one or two examples of this badge over the years, though never the stickpin before, and they are indeed rare and worthy! Probably a creation of Konrad Henlein and his Sudeten German Party, in the 1930s. Congratulations!

                    Hi all,

                    thanks for possitive comments!

No idea for which purpose was the badge used?

                    Best regards

                      Hello Pavel,

As a thought and assumption, I would go along with the thoughts of Br. James and it is most likely a Honorary Membership badge or a badge for the upper echelon of the Sudeten Party.

As before, do you really need three of the same badge and will you be selling one of them to me?

                      Best regards,

                      John
