This is a kind of little Graal for people like me ; well, at least an original, which this one is not, unfortunately. Shortly speaking, the "Heeresbergführer Abzeichen" was attributed to mountain troops personnels who were trained and tested as "Bergführer" (mountain guide) and had proven so for at least one year.

Even from these bad pics, a lot of features are obviously off. Anyway Howard, you should post it in the dedicated forum, such an item is worth getting more opinions.
