    S.A. Standartentreffen 1934

I quite like the design of this June 1934 event badge, even though the profile depiction of the SA Oberscharführer is a little too Art Deco for my taste.

SA Standartentreffen June 1934 for SA Standarte 20 within the town of Kempten. The latter is I believe approximately 100 kilometres direct south west from München and as such, I am assuming SA Gruppe Hochland.

Note that the SA Oberscharführer wears an Edelweiss emblem on his kepi.

As always, any supporting information would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

    David

Excellent detail down to the edelweiss and script collar tabs.the profile is in the style of Adolf Wampers genius of victory. the deco look is also called Mussolini modern. thanks for posting.

Thankyou for the comments and notes of appreciation chaps, all of which are greatly appreciated.

I think though that SA event badges are not overly popular within this sub forum. "Nil Desperandum" as they say !

          Regards and best wishes,

          David

I would disagree--I can't imagine that there isn't much interest in your SA day badges. While I don't collect them myself (unless they tie in with something else in my collection), you've shown many, many badges that I've never seen before. Thanks for sharing your outstanding collection.

                    Very nice

I agree, I love getting some nice views of uncommon tinnies. Whether they be Kreistags, SA, Event Rally, etc. Thanks for displaying this SA with a unique profile shot of member.

I feel rather silly and somewhat embarrassed that I have erroneously gauged the forums attitude in connection with SA Tagungsabzeichen.

                        My sincere apologies.

                        Regards and best wishes,

                        David
