Table Medal/Medallion Opinions

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me anything about this piece? I picked it up a number of years ago and it recently surfaced in an old cigar box I had misplaced. It looks to be a zinc-pewter composition.
The detailing on the reverse is incredible but hard to show with my aging Sony
digital camera. Any and all comments would be welcomed. Can anyone aprroximate a fair market value on this item?
