    A tad theatrical and over the top by design, however still, a super SA event badge in my opinion.

        "Over the top" really doesn't quite capture this piece, David, but it certainly is a knock-out...IMHO, of course! Many thanks for sharing this unique piece with us. It's interesting, too, that Chemnitz SA Brigade 34 appears to have replaced the eagle standard top design by Gahr with the Nürnberg Hoheitsadler design by Schmid-Ehmen.

        We can always trust you to show us the rare and unusual in our hobby -- for which we are always grateful!

                Iagree naturally, missed out twice within a couple of months of each other with the bidding going over $200. each time. that was about ten years ago when Manions was a harvest of really good tinnies.
