Thanks for sharing this HJ beauty, Ron, and indeed it is well-marked...almost too well-marked! When the RZM was finally in full swing, by 1935 at the latest, my understanding is that the intention was to phase out the use of maker's firm names from all sorts of products and to replace those names with their RZM license codes and the RZM logo. This did take a few years to accomplish, and during the interim, one occasionally saw the RZM logo accompanied by the maker's license number but without the M-series detail, which seemed to take the longest time to fully develop. But when it was developed, the manufacturer's names began to disappear; after all, they became redundant -- though I'm sure the manufacturing firms preferred to see their names rather than an RZM logo and an often-unintelligible code number!
