Yes, a beautiful piece; one of my favorite badges -- the lapis blue background highlighting really sets the gold afire! I wish I had a case like this one for my own example of this badge...though I am not sure whether awarded (numbered) badges were presented in cases differing from those received with the "B" (replacement) badges such as this one? Anyone have any information on this question?

It seems to me, the original issue badges had a different case than the replacement badges box. I know one condor legion cross collector who has one he got back in the 60s when i was just a teenager from marinos , but I haven't seen him on here for a couple years to ask him to post it for comparison. Someone should have one to show, with all the people who view here .
