Richard, I think your right this firm is one of the 17 missing from M1/ RZM list but none the less a really nice badge.

      Thank you James.

Is there anyway to find out which M1 number this firmm could have had, like comparing 1st pattern HJ membership badges with the traditional badge given out when the 2nd HJ badge got through? because i imagine that when the HJ diamond came out, this badge became the traditions badge and that was when the RZM took it over.
The first version was still worn on regular bases while the diamond was already there.
So i guess the production of this badge was still running and would seem that they too would have an RZM code at one point, most probably not very long if at all .

Are there more badges like this in our community with unknown firms on it, maybe we could do a joint venture in finding and comparing the unknown with the unknown M1 RZM code?

      Greetings

Richard, Here is a list of the numbers that are missing from the 184 known makers with RZM code's. M1/19,/26,/33,/53,/69,/91,/123,/131,/132,/133,/134,/135,/144,/145,/154,/171 and/179. It is very possible that O.Baudermann, may have gone out of business prior to 1935. the only way I can see to verify that this company was still around after 1935 is to find a badge with both his name and a RZM number. The example I have of this badge isn't maker marked and the only one I know for sure who produced these badges was F. W. Assmann. I hope someone else here on the forum can help out here.
