According to modern research, there was no such Abteilung as 4/305 in Braunschweig.
There is a thread on it somewhere on the forum I believe.
So, both the "original" and the copies are bogus.

Pete is right. Member Yancy who is the resident RAD expert looked it up and no such unit existed. In any event RAD Abteilungen had about 200 members and there are tens of thousands of this badge floating around out there - now copies of fakes of a fantasy badge that go back 40+ years. The Assmann catalog has a black enamel version of a real unit badge that was probably the inspiration for this fantasy badge.
