    Hi Ken

Just getting acquainted with tinnies so I dont know much but to me its a nice "Gau Tag Gera 1934" (NSDAP District Day in Gera 1934) which was located in Gau Thuringen I beleive judging from heraldic lion shield at the bottom. A very common tinnie but one of the nicest designs IMO and made of quality nickel based metal. Some specimens are maker marked and others are are not. Here is a pict of mine

    Regards

The administrative areas of the NSDAP were divided into Reich ( State), Gau (Province) and Kries ( District). The leaders of the Gau and Kries areas would hold from time to time min-Reichsparteitag celebrations of the Nazi party they were called Gau or Kreistage. To help fund these meetings donation and propaganda badges like these were sold to visitors and the sympathizing public. The message on this badge is Es Lebe das Ewige Deutschland (Long Live Eternal Germany).
