        Hello Jacques
        I don't like the association of Ges-Gesh + RZM + M1/78
I can see that only on Honor Badges ??
        cordially
        Didier

I think in this case, it is not a problem.

I agree with Wim. There was a certain amount of overlap in the early to mid-1930s between the old system of maker-marked badges which sometimes included “Ges. Gesch.” (abbreviation for Gesetzlich Geschutz – Patent Protected) and the incoming system of RZM licensing. Some badges of that period included the maker's name and the RZM logo but no license number, others had the logo and the licensee code (the maker's ID number) but without the M-category. And the Patent Protected notice -- "Ges. Gesch." -- also occasionally appeared. This transition time has often caused questions to arise decades later, but it does not always indicate a fake piece.

You know besides the RZM/Gesch. Everything else on this badge looks perfect. I would probably look real close with a magnifier at the white enamel and if it has the black specks/flakes in it (just as another check) I would say

Could the back pin be attached upside down? Other than that I agree.
