    ID on medal needed......

Picked this up while in Germany and have never seen one before. Something to do with Carnival and dogs? It is 1 3/4" round with green enamel. Any help would be appreciated and any clue to value?? (I hate to ask that one). Mike

RDH = Reichsverband für das deutsche Hundewesen. Rick has already explained the "e.V."

I have been thinking about a value...I guess it would be about £50 sterling from a dealer in the UK......maybe a bit more?

A nice attractive obscure association merit prize of some sort for hunting dogs.
Trade Association token for (IMO) the breeding and training of Stag Hounds.

Very nice color to that enamel as well....pretty unique.
i would say with the Hitler portrait and the scarcity should be worth more than 100.00USD easily.

It Is Worth Alot More Than You Think. I Have Seen Two Of Them Sell For Over 900.00 Dollars. They Are Very Rare. Lot In The Colbert Hyder Book & You Will See It In There. I Talked To Mr. Hyder & He Told Me He Has Only Seen Two In The Last Forthy Years.
