What do you honestly think of it?
Is it an Original or a Fake?

Sorry, this is a fake one unfortunately.

About ten years ago a number of these (all with screw disc) apperared in the Netherlands in all kinds of variations (Deutschland Erwache, Sieg Heil, Adolf Hitler). I remember because someone offered me some at the time, they are horrible compared to the small original badges.

Hope you didn't pay too much for it.

Actually I was planning to buy it in combination with some combat medals (wound badges in silver and black and some others). It looked like a very impressive item for my modest collection of political badges. Many many thanks for helping me, I very much appreciate it.

Also many thanks for the detailed information, I currently have no book about political awards but I now know a lot more about this medal. I showed the thread to my dad, a yaughtsman, and he was really astonished about your knowledge on this medal, also about the fact that you remembered it appearing around 10 years ago.
