Der Stahlhelm badge found in dad's old war stuff

Hello all, first time posting here, found this forum while trying to find out about some military memorabilia i found in my dads stuff. He passed in 1978 and I just packed all of his belongings away and forgot about them until I was cleaning out my closet and ran across the box. There are a few interesting thing form his time in the wars but I have no idea what they may be. fist is the der stahlhelm badge that led me to this community. any info on what the marking mean on the back and if I can track down the person it belonged to.
    Thanks
    Jim

STH means Der Stahlhof, the supllying department for the Stahlhelm organization. The abbreviation is often wrongly explained as Steinhauer & Lück.
The code IV. Mi 825 means: district four from Landesverband Mitte, membership number 825. The man joined the organization January 2, 1927.

I believe Wilhelm Saris, our colleague, has an article coming up in "Military Advisor" that will add much to our knowledge of this fascinating subject. Can't wait to read it!

As far as I am informed it will be in the next "Military Advisor" from Bender Publishing, the "Alte Garde" Stahlhelm Honor Badge. I was assisted and mentored by Hartwig Friedrich from Germany, who is the owner of over 200 of such badges and who wrote a suchlike article for the 1981-meeting from the Stahlhelm-organization at Nördlingen.
The article includes sixteen pages (including footnotes) with about 70 photographs of actual badges with the years 1918 through 1932 (most of them front and reverse), the wearing of some of the badges and other stuff. Shown is also the wearing after WWII by two higher ranked leaders from the "new Bund".

The article includes the various names the badge was given, a sort of historical development for the badge from its introduction until its end, a special section for the first seventeen granted 1918 badges, the different documents (one from South-West Africa), a section about what I would recall "the truth about the STH abbreviation", the manufacturing with a brief procedure of manufacturing-procedure (with an explanation for the various abbreviations) etc.

What a fantastic piece! Thanks for sharing. I've seen these before, but not with as much on the back.

Thank you Wilhelm looking forward to reading the upcoming article. Now that I have discovered the significant of the badge I need to research some other items that were in the box. One is a table medal designed by Hans Brasch inscribed. "Service of breeding, Prussian ministry for agriculture, estates and forestry".
link to British museum where I found the only reference online

              http://www.britishmuseum.org/researc...1&numpages=200

Also a 1916 in eiserner zeit Watch chain only found one reference for this particular item.

If anyone has any info or a direction to start my research would greatly appreciate it.

              Thanks again

I finally found the Prussian medal on line.

                http://www.huesken.com/shop/en/pruss...cht-22233.html

Turns out it is a state medal for breeding dogs 1933. wondering if that value is correct and why it would be so much more than other breeding medals.
