    NSDAP party pin, opinions?

Had this clunking around in my "what the heck kind of junk is this?" box for a while, never got a chance to post it. I'm pretty sure it's a repro, as i have never seen one like it, but maybe someone knows more about it then i do here.

    Thanks guys.

I agree, a repro, and not even a good one. But it appears that someone went to some degree of trouble to make this piece. Hope it didn't cost you...much?!

lol not much at all. it was a part of a large veteran lot that included an all-matching k98 with sling and a ton of other stuff, so the few items that I was unsure about are basically insignificant loss.

Still, the quality is definitely there. Kind of strange why would someone produce that good of a fake of a cheap party pin.

A fake made in the 70s - it's based on the enamel center of the Gold Party Badge.

Any documentation of that it was made in the 70's? a catalog or magazine ad scan perhaps?

I know it's in the old "WWII Inc" catalogs.
