I have grave doubts. The enamel does not look correct. The swas does not look correct. The RZM mark does not look correct. The pin plate does not look correct. The design patent mark and the RZM mark should not be together, and certainly not without a RZM "M 1", number.

Sorry this one is no good. As stated above, all the points made are good indications of a bad piece. The rounded tops on the letters is also a dead giveaway. These are also encountered with no makers mark.

I sent an email to this "professional" seller. To tell him that this pins is a fake and why in detail.

His answer : "How interesting! Thank you but my opinion is different but each to his own opinion for sure ? Hope we can serve you better some other time. Regards, Germania."

The description of the pin on the site says: "Once plentiful, these are also drying up." Does he mean that there is a shortage of repros out there? The "Heim Ins Reich" pin also looks sketchy (no reverse side photo).
