    A fake SA Treffen tinnie

I don't like the looks of the swaz or wreath just for starters on this tinnie. Will I be born out? An out & out fake??

The wreath looks unevenly centered in the wreath and the wreath looks unevenly portioned around the circle. There appear to be an uneven number of lines on the left and right side of the birds wings across the bottom.
    Thanx,
    Tim

Personally I cannot see anything wrong with the SA event badge shown.

Post event manufactured of course by Assmann and in my opinion, displaying all the detail (including slightly eccentric detail) that I would expect for the solid aluminium and die stamped type of this badge.

Attached are two that I hold for comparison, one being in aluminium and one being in a zinc type composite metal.

      Regards,

      David

Well, I was wrong again. Is it a rare tinnie or???. Is it worth anything or common?

Does the case have inside the silouette of this badge "stamped" to fit properly?
If it does, so, this is a very great find.

                          hi Gregorio

I do agree whit the rest of the gang its fine and orig. the case looks genuine and u can tjek the black inlet on the reverse side there will be a stamped maker, be carefull when u lift the inlet or u might dammaged it and the value will fall.

                          cheers

The case has nothing to do with the badge

Really cool to see a matching case if it is authentic....cannot say I have seen one before.

Does it have any lid markings or standard LDO blank ? Some pictures the case would be great if possible.

                              Nice set.

                              Cheers,

                              Glen
