    1929 Nurnberg Parteitag Group

    Had the luck to find this little grouping today connected to the same guy. if anyone can help with information about this very early membership card then please shout up.

              Wow! Between Erich and you, you have the very first two post cards dedicated to the RPT! And yours was postmarked the day after the 1929 RPT itself. Interesting, too, is the location of the offices of the then-established Munich art publisher, Peter Triem, who produced cards #1 and 2 -- right next door to Heinrich Hoffmann Studio! Congratulations on a wonderful find!

                    Okay so a little update.The photograph is of Hermann Esser who was of course Hitlers right hand man in the early days, but a drunk with funny ways who was passed aside over time due to his behaviour,although he remained on the scene somewhat. The Grossdeutsche Volksgemeinschaft membership card has Esser's signiture and Schwarz although these are stamped,not signed-there are no brush strokes or anything that would suggest a hand signiture. Also given that is card number 8667 I would imagine they would not have signed over 8000 cards. So what we have here is a membership card to the organisation that swallowed up NSDAP members during the NSDAP ban following the events of 1923, I've never seen one before!?
                    The postcard appears to have been sent by Frau Fischlberger [not sure on spelling] to a Bruno Fischlberger and an Esser ink signed and dedicated postcard to her from Esser , April 1926. The membership card is also hers. She must have been a really rare early female member and to be at Nurnberg 29 !!
                    Our Friend Br James has helped me with this and I know he will have more to add to the thread, here are some more pics of Esser that I found online today.
