In the world today there is more interest in these now than years before , as like many other things .

Hi Juoneen, I enjoy Frauenschaft badges and would love to see yours or any others out there. I also like the DAF women's badges. Mike

With all of the Frauenschaft collectors here I would like your opinion. Is this a real or fake one?

Thanks for posting your badge Brian. As you know, it is the early pattern Kreis. Sometimes it is difficult to tell if it has the silver border or not---yours appears to have the border. In my humble opinion, it is a good piece. Mike

My Buddy Ron asked if there are any that I don't have. I would LOVE to find the DAF Reichs-level yellow without the silver border, the Kreis-level in white with the silver border, and the DAF leader in white or black with the oak leaves. My speculation is that the black was early, like the Frauenschaft, so the leader with oak leaves would be only in white for Kreis. Any out there????

Mike, Blue is for Ortsgruppe and yours has the silver outer border....Kreis is white, etc. Nice badge!! If people pay attention, the original badges (in my humble opinion) have a smaller swastika and the repros have a larger one.

                        RZM mark

someone told me that the RZM mark on these badges with 1 circle around the RZM is a fake ?
                        is this true ?

                        thanks ,

Personally I think that the one-ring hypothesis that they are bad is absolutely false. Most have two rings but many really good ones (badges, belt buckles, etc) have only one. IMO

Mijke, maybe we should start it here, as i have an unusual leaders badge I got when i was a kid in a pile of items i got from a vet, but had little interest in it till recently coming across it again, and didnt know it was a leaders variation either. It has trces of a gold wash but devoid of ever being enameled , but i think it will trip your trigger. I will try and see what i can put together as soon as i have time to retrieve them, and get some decent photos. There might be a few other common ones too I can show, so now that I came back to the thread , i can get around to make a note to remembering to post them soon.

Time was when we would occasionally hear someone say that RZM logos with only one ring surround were fakes, but I haven't heard this in quite a while. Dagger collectors used to get this question fairly often, given that a number of cutlers used the single ring RZM logo on later issue SA Standard Service Daggers. But as I understand it, the dagger collectors have pretty much agreed that such an allegation is itself a 'fake' and that both the single and double ring RZM logos are of the period.

I checked with Michael Tucker's tome titled "N.S.D.A.P. Enamel" (published by MilSpec Publishing, 2005) and this reference work contains a number of photos of the reverses of later Party Pins bearing the single ring RZM logo, all of which appear to be considered original and genuine. Hope this is helpful.
