I don't collect tinnies at this time, but I think you've got a great set. An excellent grouping and very nice!

I am well aware of the Weitze pricing ... but still, considering "normal" tinnies ranking around $5-$15, also $50 is a diamond for me!

Guy, thanks for showing the other Luxembourg ones

A personalized button hole charm, has some historical value, but obviously limited.

I would opine that it is one of two cuff-links belong to a man who still lived with his mother, or parents is the missing one featured a pic of the old man.

Thanks for that info, never seen one before. These were used then for private occasions ... ?

So you also would say that this shows a man ...

By the way, can somebody tell me what these swords belong to?

                    Thanks!

I think someone has repainted the right hand SA tinnie. It looks far too neat and the gold colour is off. Another Luxemburg! See I told you they are common.
                        Regards,
                        Pete

                          Hi Pete,

good observation ... let me try to get angled shots once I am back in my studio so that you can then decide on a better basis.

Holding the tinnies in hand, I wouldn't see it, but let's wait for the better pictures.

                          Thanks for your comment!

... does that bring final confirmation on the question if repainted or not?

                            Thanks!

Yes I think so. A repaint.
