    Very unique pin assembly...

I've collected the 1935 Tag der Arbeit tinnies for years and have never seen a pin assembly like this before. The maker is Gebr. Bender. Very unique.

        hi robert

nice and original tinnie and yes yours is whit replaced pinsystem but whit a original pin system, so imo its original whit a pin that is way overdue bec the "new" pinsystem is used for a bit more expencive tinnies that was common under and after 1 ww and also used in some extend to the end of 2 ww. The new pinsystem was common on the lower part of germany and very common in gau austria. all in all its a badge that is imo a bit special whit a heart from the original recipient and def collectable

        cheers mate

Hello Mil, I am with you on this one
That definitely looks like a replaced pin.
You can see the original crimp lines and then look again where the replacement pin has been put in and then hammered down to keep it in place.
Seems like a lot of work for the common 35’ workers badge
          All the best

            Well,

Looking at it again under a 10X loupe I'm in agreement with your opinions. There is epoxy glue under the base of the pin both top and bottom. It's a very well executed repair.

Hello Robert.....glad to be of assistance.
I used to collect tinnies and had quite a large collection but sold them off.
The badge really did look like a repin from the first picture.
              All the best
