    Hi Raul,

I'm not sure why you think your badge is fake, but if it has to do with the maker reference of M1/129, I note that Michael F. Tucker in his 2005 book on the subject of Party badges titled "N.S.D.A.P. Enamel" lists that RZM license number as belonging to the firm of Seiler & Co., Geldem, and Tucker states that that firm did indeed manufacture Party badges under that license number. Hope this helps.

I believe it is indeed a fake. Search for "M1/129" and you'll see the discussions. I believe Tucker is mistaken about this maker. The RZM license existed briefly, but no period badges have ever been seen' and it ïs unlikely we're ever produced by this maker. This is a common fake reverse and the puffy enamel around the letters gives it away as modern synthetic enamel instead of hard vitrious glass.

Seiler didn't make party pins. The Tucker book is wrong about that (and a lot of other things I'm afraid)

Sorry. Badge is bad. Tucker book has some major inacuracies.

Wow! Glad I responded! That brought out quite a bid of criticism of Michael Tucker's book that might otherwise have gone unspoken.

Yes James, the book shows some nice pictures about the party pins but that's about it. I think collector/researcher Jo Rivett of Zwitserland has set some new standards when it comes to studying the NSDAP party pin.

The badge is not original, I don't care what the book says, I have the book as well. I could go on for a whole paragraph about this one. not even close. Do a search on these and it will be obvious.
