Any Ideas what this was for?

This came with a group of WHW items. Know it is not WHW related but was wondering if anyone knew what this was off of (if anything) Mike

    Deutsches Reichsgeschmacksmuster:

DRGM German patent mark (meaning Deutsches Reich Geschmacksmuster (or Gebrauchmuster?)) that appears with or without a registration number. It seems to have been introduced around 1900 and was used on both domestic and industrial designs as well as jewellery. Officially it was withdrawn in 1945 but also appears on some items of a later date. DRGM

I guess the only sure way to find out what this specific plaque was attached to is to find a list of the DRGM numbers somewhere that identifies what this particular number relates to. Never seen such a list, but would not be surprised if someone somewhere has one ... surely, they must exist .... ? Cheers, Torsten.
