Large NSFK Sponsor's Badge - ?

Here's the lapel pin version, alongside his big brother. Does anyone know what the larger one is for? It looks like a device for a photo album cover. Thanks.

A belated thanks for the info. Was this badge worn on the breast like a combat badge? (sorry I don't have the reference on the NSKK).

Information as to wearing of the badge. is unknown, no regulations, no photos, some sourses say it is presumed that it was worn on the upper left sleeve.
Metal insignia was worn attached to a blue/grey oval with bullion wreathed oval,
badge was mounted in center.
