Scott The piece is not fantasy but reproduction evidenced especially by wrong attaching pin and markings. Fantasy means did not exist only in creator's mind. Sorry I didn't include link. Say blue enamel work or this type of thing.

Someone should probably post a picture of the same exact badge with the "V" at the bottom, so that the new unread collectors don't freek out when they see one, & in err call an original badge a fantasy badge. For some reason the "V" was dropped from the design in 1934. The DJV badges are scarce.
