I'm sceptical on the party pin.

i agree that the party pin is no good.

the lettering looks "modern" with the rounded tips... a common trait of a repro.

actually, the fake swedish snsp pic you posted is a good example.

Yeah you are right =) It is indeed same type of thick lettering with rounded tips as in the swedish SNSP badge.

                Maybe the same source?

So what about the the two other? I am not to keen on the HJ pin.

i dunno... maybe not the same source.. but perhaps the same modern method of cutting the planchette.

the HJ pin looks suspiciously similar to the party pin to me.

Party pins without any markings do exist and they are of early construction. However I Can't place an unmakered HJ pin historical in the period. They came later and felt under RZM regulation albeit early examples are found with full written mm. Considering it's quality there is nothing wrong. But that can also be said of the fake party pin.

The party pin is not good because -like is already mentioned- the letterring is thick and uniform. The die pattern that they used to struck this badge, is not cut out by hand.

Can't say much about the patriotic pin.

                    Regards, Wim
