    Golden Party badges - numbered

    Gentlemen,

    these golden party badges are coming right away out of the woodwork.

    Unfortunately there is a small chip on the large one, both are well worn. Happily they are numbered together.

    Any thoughts on this greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards;

    Original. Small Fuess badge has had the pin period replaced. They look ground dug. That's the only way to get that level of finish removed from these.

      Stephen,

      thanks for jumping in.

      I've uploaded pics made with a flash. Hope that helps.

      Thanks for any help on these.

      Kindest regards;

        That's a lot better - a whole different look. Nice badges. I don't have the number in my database.

        Cheers,

        Stephen

          Dear collecting,

          Thanks for sharing this matched set of GPBs. Quite interesting that both badges appear to have had their pins replaced, and both with plates mounted upside-down! I've never seen the patent mark applied to a pin plate before... Sorry to say that I don't have this number on my list.

          Thanks again for sharing,

          Br. James

            Hi,

            thank you so much for your input. The family said just the pin on the small one was resoldered during the period time.

            There is probably an important background, but I have to check that. Any idea how to track the number down?

                  ... no results. :-(

                  Dear collecting,

                  I was not able to identify the recipient of NSDAP Goldene Ehrenzeichen. However, I will retain your email in the event I acquire information in the future. If you sell the badge, retain the address of the new owner. Thank you.

                  Sincerely,

                  Rob McDivitt
