Badge I have always had but I am looking to verify its authenticity... It looks very clean.. Anyone have inputs or seen this one before??

Looking very clean doesn't mean anything in this hobby as far as originality; I have one same as yours, same maker markings, & mine is perfectly mint. Yours is very nice. There are some collectors who like things in very nice condition such as your badge, there are others who are satisified with things in their collections that look like they fell off the back of a pickup truck. IThe badge is from the National Socialist Reichskriegerbund,- all you need now is the common shield-shaped member's badge, the 25-yr badge & the 50-yr badge.

Thank you Silesien, I might look for the other badges.. The 50 would be pretty neat! That would mean that owner was born around ~1865 or so at the earliest!!!

No. It means 40 years of membership of the Veteran Organisation. There were a huge number of Veteran Organisations in Germany and this was one of them. Cheers, Torsten.
