As far as I can see ours are identical in the front too. Every arm of the swastika lands on the same point. Ours even have the translucent red w/ the background pebbling...

I haven't heard anyone on here say they are real.. however, they really are believable in my opinion...

The reason it says "Bon", after "Hoffstätter" instead of "Bonn", is most likely because the pin is covering up the other "n".

Hi Silesien, Yes that is correct. It does have BONN. The pin is covering that. Do you suspect there is hope for this one?

that is a modern repro.

see how every letter is rounded? look at any period badge and you'll see the imperfections of a hand made die. this looks like it was from a machine made die.

A good observation. The second one showed "Deutschland Erwache" has the same problem. Not for my collection. The uniform thick lettering is a red flag.
