1927 Stahlhelm pin

Does something look wrong with this 1927 pin ?
I have never seen a backside look glossy, is it me, or am I wrong. Has anyone else seen one like this. This may be a stupid question ???

Hi Jack,

Nothing looks wrong about this badge; it looks fine to me. Obviously it was never issued, and whoever owned it in the past took good care of it to avoid it being scratched. It is a solid sterling (.925) piece and someone may have kept it polished through the years. A fine addition to any collection of Stahlhelm Commemorative Badges.
