I don,t think the cased one is HJ related, NSRL maybe, never saw
the other one. But looks very impressive reminds me of the Kreissieger
            badges
            Regards

dont know what to make of the badge in post #5,the design is new to me have never seen anything like this before, i can see what mametz is saying about the kreissieger similarity's ,but the eagle matches none of the eagles on any of the sieger badges.
and im still wondering why none of these have ever been seen before, as anyone else seen one before this.

yep i think your right about the glass one , both awards came with a hj armband and nazi pennants which i ve posted on the forum beneath this one , the kreiseiger type seems to refer to an international swimming competition hosted by the hj , 8 Dutch wartime swimming medals were included in this collection ,apparently picked up by a royal artillery soldier during the war , possibly a Dutch youth entering German swimming competitions ?

Also quite late date 1941 for HJ stuff, and these plaques are more
often than not maker marked. Anyway interesting looks good quality
but this is a new one for me, anyone else seen one before. You never
know you might have something rare, or a new fake
                  Regards

unlikely fake ,the quality is superb and no ones ever seen one before ,everything else in the group seems to be authentic , i can t find any info or pictures of one of these to see another or hear from someone who knows a bit about the event would be great , i guess it originally would have come in a small box

Terry , is the one glass or plastic ? & what's the size of it ?? any markings on the case ??
seriously doubt it would be fake , a lot of work to make molds for glass or plastic.
                        very detailed ,very impressive looking.
I like the other badge also.
thank you for showing us these items.

I doubt that the glass one is hand cut, it will be moulded. I have glass tinnies that are moulded, so they are no great expense to make.
Impressive, lovely quality, HJ swimming award.
I would imagine that there are a great number of different award/donation/rememberance/souvenir plaques out there, most of which are new to our eyes when seen for the first time. (possibly almost as many as tinnies)
                              Regards,
                              Pete
