    NSDAP badge

    Hello everyone

I got this with a set of feldpost I bought recently.
Is it a real one or a fake?

on the back it's marked: ges. gesch and the letter b in a circle.

what do you think? fake or original.

    some pictures:

    regards
    Thompson

Sorry for bad news, but it is well known fake! Poor fake.

It is almost impossible to find original of this badge this days.

I agree. Only a few originals are known in advanced collections.

I believe they had originals with that mark, shown in one thread with provenance. But they also as with many of the repros ....copy the makers mark , so one must be careful, as advised....and my advice would be to read up on all the threads on the subject, then decide for yourself ......its actually an interesting badge of all the party pins, and respectfully i disagree, they are in the hands of the fortunate who lucked upon one by chance, not much advanced about that, just the luck of the draw when out looking. Could or would you show a close up of the mark as one would read it, and not angled away, but straight on? Check out that thread. as i said, and compare them closer to the one you posted, and remember, different makers have slightly different versions of the same badges. I kinda like this one you posted , seems well made to me, but .Here it is:

I have a maker "B" example myself with outstanding enamel quality. But I consider it as a fake. There are too many "B" pieces around, both poor qualities and perfect qualities. An unmaked piece or a Schanes marked piece makes more sence to me.
